Specifically built for intermediate athletes, it provides a softer feel during the throw, aiding in a cleaner release while reducing strain and injury risk.

    The OTE Apex Javelin is available in three versions — Headwind (H), Tailwind (T), and Universal — allowing athletes to select the ideal javelin for their throwing style and conditions:

    • Headwind (H): Features a streamlined tip designed to cut through the wind with self-correcting characteristics. Best suited to power throwers who rely on strength and torque, providing added distance on less-than-perfect releases.

    • Tailwind (T): Features a thicker, blunted tip that increases surface area for greater lift in tailwind conditions. Ideal for finesse throwers with high technical skill, offering longer floating flights reminiscent of old-rules javelins.

    • Universal: Combines a streamlined design with lift assistance, offering versatility across conditions. Provides forgiveness on mis-hits while supporting added distance.
